The Image Editor in the Brand Channel is a separate tool that must be enabled for each customer. It offers versatile tools for creating, editing, and managing digital assets. To access the Image Editor, specific permissions must be configured, and templates must meet compatibility requirements. This guide explains how to set up roles, navigate to the Image Editor, and manage supported templates.
User Roles and Permissions
Access to the Image Editor is determined by the following permissions:
- Manage Content -> Creative Editor: Grants read-only access to view the Image Editor.
- Manage Content -> Create Creative Editor: Enables the creation of new templates.
- Manage Content -> Export Creative Editor: Allows sharing and exporting templates.
Based on this we recommend to create the following Role-Groups in the Settings:
- Creator:
- Includes all three permissions.
- Responsibilities: Designing and managing templates.
- Adaptor:
- Includes "Creative Editor" and "Export Creative Editor" permissions.
- Responsibilities: Applying templates and generating links for usage.
- Viewer:
- Includes only the "Creative Editor" permission.
- Responsibilities: Viewing templates with read-only access.
Note: Ensure roles are configured correctly for each user group to provide appropriate access and functionality.
