ECGT – Green Claims Compliance Report

The ECGT Compliance report helps you check whether your videos comply with the EU Green Claims and Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition (ECGT) requirements. Our system automatically scans your videos for environmental claims, flags potentially non-compliant statements, and shows you exactly where in the video they occur — so you can review, document, or resolve them.

Use the ECGT report to monitor the compliance status of your entire video library and to work through detected claims asset by asset.

Understanding the Report

The report is split into two tabs:

• Videos: A list of all your videos with their current compliance status. This is where you review and resolve claims.
• Trends: An overview of how your compliance status develops over time.

At the top of the Videos tab, four summary boxes give you an instant overview:

• Total videos: All videos in your channel that are part of the compliance check.
• Compliant: Videos where no non-compliant claims were detected.
• Non-compliant: Videos with at least one detected claim that needs your attention.
• Not checked: Videos that have not been analyzed yet.

The summary boxes are clickable and act as a filter. For example, click Non-compliant to show only the videos that need review.

Each row in the table shows:

• Asset: The video name. Click it to open the asset in the detail panel.
• Status: Compliant or Non-Compliant.
• Claims: How many detected claims have been resolved (e.g., 0/6).
• Activity: Recent actions on the asset.
• Added: The date and time the video was added.

Navigating to the Report

1. Sign in to your Brand Channel
2. In the left Menu, under Reporting -> Compliance, select ECGT – Green Claims
3. Switch between the Videos and Trends tabs at the top
4. Navigate between pages using the pagination controls at the bottom

Filtering the Data

1. Click the Filter button at the top of the table
2. Select the filter: You can filter by Asset name, Unique ID, Folder ID, Added, or Status
3. Enter your value: In the filter dialog box, enter the values or criteria you want to use for filtering and hit "Enter"
4. View your filtered data: Only the videos that match your filter criteria will be visible
5. Remove the filter: To remove a filter, click the "x" next to it

Tip: Clicking one of the summary boxes at the top (e.g., Non-compliant) applies the corresponding status filter in one click.

Reviewing Detected Claims

1. Click a video in the list to open the detail panel on the right
2. At the top, you'll see a preview of the video, its compliance status, and its priority (e.g., Medium Priority)
3. The Progress bar shows how many of the detected claims have been resolved (e.g., 0/6 resolved)
4. Under Detected Claims, each claim is listed with the exact timestamp where it occurs (e.g., Audio, 0:04 – 0:13). Click a claim to expand it.

For each detected claim, you'll find:

• Priority: An indication of the severity of the detected claims in the video.
• Claim: The exact statement detected in the video (e.g., a transcribed audio passage).
• Reasoning: An explanation of why this statement may not be compliant.
• Issue Types: The category of the potential violation (e.g., "Lifecycle Cherry Picking").
• Detected: The date and time the claim was found.

Understanding the Priority

The priority indicates how problematic the detected claims in a video are, based on the ECGT guidelines. It is not based on the number of claims, but on their severity:

• High priority: The video contains at least one highly problematic claim and should be addressed before all else.
• Medium priority: The detected claims are moderately problematic.
• Low priority: The detected claims are of low severity.

This means a video with several low-severity claims can have a lower priority than a video with a single highly problematic claim. Use the priority to decide which videos to review first.

Resolving a Claim

You have two options to resolve a detected claim:

• Upload proof documentation: If you can substantiate the claim, upload supporting documentation directly in the claim section.
• Ignore this claim: If the claim was flagged incorrectly or is not relevant, you can dismiss it.

Once all claims of a video are resolved, its progress is complete.

Exporting the Report

1. Navigate to the ECGT Compliance report and apply any filters you need
2. Click the Export button on the right

Additional Tips

• Use the Non-compliant summary box as a starting point for your daily review workflow.
• Click on the video name for direct access to the asset in the preview layer.
• Use the timestamps next to each claim to jump straight to the relevant section of the video.
• Check the Trends tab regularly to see whether your overall compliance is improving over time.
• Share the filtered view by sending the link with your filter selections.
